Incline Leg Press: 4 sets of 12 reps
For best results: your weight should be heavy enough that the last 2 reps of sets 3-4 are hard!
Increase your burn: Throw in 15 calf-raises between each set.
Alternating Lunges (stepping back): 4 sets of 12 reps
For best results: hold dumbbells heavy enough to slow your movement down (but light enough that you can keep your chest up as you lunge).
Increase your burn: holding the same dumbbells, align your feet hip-width apart, and do 15 hip hinges between sets.
