About our Workouts

After spending decades as a full-time fitness professional, I just can't shake my love for writing a challenging and efficient workout. :)

You should never have to spend hours in the gym to accomplish your goals. Thirty minutes tops is all you need! I'll continue to add new workouts to make your time in the gym most effective.

These workouts are not designed to teach you form... but if you want help with that, drop me an email, and I'll be glad to connect you with a professional in your area.

Quick & Heavy Leg Day

Group 1

Incline Leg Press: 4 sets of 12 reps

For best results: your weight should be heavy enough that the last 2 reps of sets 3-4 are hard!
 

Increase your burn: Throw in 15 calf-raises between each set.

Group 2

Alternating Lunges (stepping back): 4 sets of 12 reps

For best results: hold dumbbells heavy enough to slow your movement down (but light enough that you can keep your chest up as you lunge).

Increase your burn: holding the same dumbbells, align your feet hip-width apart, and do 15 hip hinges between sets.

Quick & Heavy Upper Body Day

Group 1

Incline Chest Press: 4 sets of 12 reps

For best results: your weight should be heavy enough that the last 2 reps of sets 3-4 are hard!
 

Increase your burn: Throw in 10 pushups between each set.

Group 2

Alternating Bent Rows: 4 sets of 12 reps

For best results: engage your abs, keep your movement slow & focus on squeezing your shoulder blade toward your spine.

Increase your burn: Throw in 20 supine leg raises (laying on the bench you're using) in between sets. The more exhausted your abs are the more your back will have to do the work!
